With BS in Physics and in Mathematics and after twelve years of corporate jobs in various hi-tech industries as Program Manager and Management Consultant, Raj's yoga practice and yoga teaching is grounded by the fundamental belief that stress through the rat-race of material success is the biggest contributor to increasing health issues in the world. Yoga helps in not only re-balancing our lives, but also in raising an intellectual awareness that we are all connected beings living off of the same quantum mechanical resources. Raj and his wife, Kelly are both certified yoga teachers and dreams of a life where they do not have to rely on corporate careers for livelihood. HYfL is a step in that direction.

Teaching Community Context

Teacher transitions at Hot Yoga For Life followed natural patterns — some instructors taught for years and then moved to other studios, founded their own teaching practices, or transitioned away from teaching entirely. The studio's structure supported this fluidity by training successive cohorts through teacher training, ensuring the teaching roster remained refreshed without dependence on any single teacher's continued availability.

The teacher profiles preserved here include both senior faculty members who led teacher training programs and newer instructors who completed the studio's training and joined the teaching roster. This range provides documentation of how the studio cultivated teachers from beginner to senior over its operational years — a process visible in the archive that reflects the broader yoga teacher development pipeline at quality studios.
